IR version of the last

Image
This is a view of the Banks from Sugar loaf, on my 4x5, with a scanning back and a deep red IR filter. Without the daylight filter these backs are very sensitive to IR. For reference see my last shot with the daylight filter.

View from Sugar loaf Mountain towards the Banks. Just above the sign of the kiwi. I like the slowness of the 4x5 camera, stops all that unnecessary snapping and fiddling with filters. Thanks for any feed back.

Using a still camera to make HD movies

The world really did change after the introduction of HD video on DSLR cameras, giving every day photographers the ability to shoot movies in a similar quality to productions that would normally be out of their reach. We can now use the quality of 35mm lenses in movie making. the TV series "House" was the first commercial production to use the DSLR in an episode. http://www.engadget.com/2010/04/13/canon-5d-mark-ii-used-to-shoot-entire-house-season-finale-direc/ Chapter 1: The Cabbie from Vincent Laforet on Vimeo .
