Godley Head

The light at Godley head is very different from the rest of the Banks.
It sticks out into the Pacific and catches the last of the light at the end of the day.
Capturing it is always hard work, trying to find the marks and get to the right location, just at the decisive moment, (thanks HCB), is always a challenge.

Just trying to translate thoughts into pictures is a difficult road to be on.

My daughter ran the furthest distance of her life today with me.
Five kilometres, not bad for six years.

Dear John,

I could not find a contact for you on the website, I have just seen your exhibition at Coca, and saw some of your photos of the Banks, I am working on a small interpretation project about the Ports Hills and wondered whether you might be interested in contributing in any way. I am involving in putting together a display and video for the port Hill information centre at victoria park. As always with these types of projects, everything is on a complete shoe string and I at working on a voluntary basis. I am a very keen photographer and it would be great to meet you.

regards

Matt
